The Challenge

The new facility at Beaumont, CA was expecting a high volume of production and needed a system that could meet its large demand for hot water. The managers were also looking for efficient, reliable equipment with 0% downtime, and that required lower maintenance than the typical tank-type systems commonly used today.

The Intellihot Solution

Two Intellihot iQ1501s were installed for a combined capacity of 3,000,000 Btu/hr and easily handle the plant’s rigorous production schedule. The units provide 70 GPM of 140 degree water all day long. The heaters also work together to offer the plant 92% thermal efficiency with redundancy of 12:1 and an industry best 100:1 turn-down ratio.
