There's no need to purchase a recirculation system, because Intellihot water heaters have the pump built in, with programmable modes for the type of recirculation that fits your home! Intellihot systems work with or without the use of a recirculation line. For existing homes, an optional thermostatic valve can be fitted under your sink in minutes, which will eliminate the need for a return line. However, for new construction, the Intellihot can be programmed to work with a dedicated return line.
I have heard about cold water sandwich in tankless water heaters. Does Intellihot have this problem?

What about pressure drop?
